Help: Rainmeter Application • Re: Rainmeter Skins & Bitlocker encryption

Can't you set your Bitlocker configuration to auto-unlock that drive? Or does that not work for removable media?
First of all - I am very sorry to have abandoned the thread for some time - I guess I just don't know how busy I am!

To answer your question - i'm using a fixed drive, and I don't think Bitlocker allows an auto-unlock, but that would be a good feature, particulary if you could specify the programs to only unlock.
What I have done is taken J S Morley's advice in that I have gone into the bitlockered drive (G:) and copied the Skins folder, then I have pasted it into the C: Drive\Program Files\Rainmeter folder. That has made the skins re-appear as normal on the desktop when I log in.

(ps. to everyone - always try to copy your thread text before clicking 'submit' otherwise you could get auto-logged out of this forum and lose your post text! If it's copied, you just log back in and paste it).
