First off, you must have the latest 32bit or 64bit (depending on your system, presumably 64bit) version of the HWiNFO plugin .dll for Rainmeter in your ..AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Plugins folder.
Then you must configure HWiNFO in its settings, as you say you have done... Mostly just turning on Shared Memory Support.
Then you use measures like this in your skin:

Note that I absolutely do not suggest or recommend this approach of using the old and out of date version of HWiNFO with the now unsupported plugin.
